Circa 1980 Solid Brass & Hand Cut Mother of Pearl Tile Cachepot / Planter

Eye-catching bell-shaped brass cachepot embellished with four rows of hand cut mother of pearl tiles, adding just the right amount of elegant drama to any space and complementing most any design style. I’ve kept it polished on the exterior, so keep in mind it will develop a patina over time. In excellent condition, structurally sound with age-appropriate wear (please review all photos). Water tight but best if used with a liner to keep it that way. Makers label for the most part is gone with the exception of a corner where it states that this beauty was made in India. My best guess is that the cachepot was imported sometime in the 1980s by Decorative Crafts, a well-known import company that is no longer in business. It measures 8¾” high; rim diameter 8”; base diameter 5”; interior 8¼” high; diameter at the top 7” and 5” at the bottom; weight 1 lb. 12 oz. Handcrafted from solid brass (not food safe) with hand cut mother of pearl tiles. Note, faux boxwood topiary is not included. For a little splash of Hollywood Regency in your space, this beauty will not disappoint!
