This fabulous sweater was designed by Bonnie Cashin for Saks Fifth Avenue, most likely in the early 70s. Made from a gray cashmere knit, it features Bonnie’s wonderful funnel neck, which can be worn on the neck or pulled up over the head for a more dramatic look! The cashmere is incredibly soft and chic, and this piece is hand washable, making it perfect for travel.
Pair it with your favorite skirt or slacks, and be sure to pull it over your head to keep you toasty warm! Note that this piece looks amazing with our Bonnie Cashin for Sills wool cape, shown in image 5 for styling inspiration (but being sold separately).
Made in Scotland. Hand wash. Tagged size S. Approximate measurements, taken flat and doubled where appropriate: shoulders – 16in, bust – 34in, waist – 31in, shoulder to hem – 24in, sleeves – 21in (note that there is a max of approximately .25in comfortable stretch to knit).
Preowned/vintage with minimal signs of prior use and wear: the designer label is loose and needs to be reinforced.
