Set of 2 beige Sahco Zero The Tired Man lounge chairs by Lassen. Flemming Lassen designed the upholstered armchair The Stanco in 1935 for the Copenhagen cabinetmakers’ guild competition. It is characterized by organic, bear-like shapes and caused a sensation then as now with its curved shape and voluminous armrests. Sitting in the chair should, in Flemming Lassen’s words, feel “as warm and safe as a polar bear cub in its mother’s arms in the middle of the ice cap.” This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
