Preowned, vintage Bonnie Cashin for Meyers ‘Box Bag’ aka the bicycle purse, likely made in the mid 1970s. Made from supple black pebbled leather, it fastens with a large kiss lock and features a removable double strand leather strap with brass push clasps! The interior is unlined.
You can find a similar bag in Dr Stephanie Lake’s monograph, “Bonnie Cashin: Chic Is Where You Find It” page 200, where Cashin is noted as suggesting “new ways to wear bags” around the neck when bicycling.
