Stunning, full-length, charcoal wool gabardine coat with intricately seamed panels from Azzedine Alaia dating to fall of 1986, exactly as seen on the runway. The same coat was also featured on model Tatjana Patitz in the 1998 Alaia book published by Rizzoli. The seaming of the coat creates a fitted bodice with a flared hemline. There is great movement when walking. The size is approximately a French 40. This coat best fits a US size 4-6 or possibly an 8 (maximum 38″ hips). Button closure which can be adjusted smaller. Approximate measurements: bust 36″, waist 30″, hips 38″ and length 49-52″. Fully lined. Double breasted button closure. Zippered pockets at hips and chest. Made in France. Very good condition.
