Chrome-plated tubular steel and lacquered wood. Manufactured probably by Gebrüder Thonet AG, Frankenberg, These pieces, while originally designed as nesting stools, were manufactured by both Standard-Möbel and Thonet as a set of nesting tables, model B9. Each stool was made from two pieces of tube; the seats were attached with screws placed through the tube and the side of the seat; only in later years was the connection made with metal flanges. In original condition consistent with age and use. Scattered erosion marks on the tubular steel. The wood is in good condition with some scratches. Dimensions of the largest: 60 x 66 x 39 cm.
