Rare and very popular with Scandinavian design collectors, this coffee table with 3 cm thick marble tray on structure in steel blades typical of this designer is simply magnificent.
This PK61A model is an original edition for Kold Christensen which carries the cachet of authenticity engraved in the mass of the two side crosspieces. So not to be confused with the editions of Fritz Hansen from the 2000s.
To date we have not found any merchant offering this original model of the 60s with this form and dimension, which makes this table a real collector’s room.
Produced at the end of the 1960s, this table therefore presents some traces of use and time, signs of its authenticity and its robustness.
The structure thus presents slight traces of oxidation, the marble is well preserved despite its small use of use. (see photos).
