Vintage Design
The 1918 design was originally designed as a simple and inexpensive furniture for everyone. The “red-blue chair” of the Dutch carpenter, designer and architect Gerrit Rietveld then became one of the most famous objects in design history. Due to the striking color scheme in the primary colors, the design is a prime example of the avant -garde art movement de Stijl. Belongs to the constant inventory of the New York Moma.
